Sitting Here

One of the new Stamps from Stampin’ Up! that will be available on June 1st.   Love this set ‘ Sitting Here‘and there are a lot more pieces.  There is also a cat, vase  of flowers, bird and more words.  I can not share the entire set until the catalog is released on June 1st.  One of the perks of being a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator is that you get to pre-order some of the new supplies/stamp sets.

So for this card, I ordered this Stamp Set, Sitting Here, plus some new in colors.  the ones I used on this card were Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum  I cut out the swing, which actually comes with ropes to swing on, but I liked it as a bench.  I used dimensional so it looks like it is setting in the grass.   For the dog bed and the dog, I did some masking which I will show you later on in the week when I can post the Stamp Set and other elements to it.

Hope you had a great weekend holiday.  I sure did!    Pooped so as soon as I’m done with this post, I think I’ll just go relax and watch some TV.

I’ll try get the stamp set and all other supplies posted by Friday.  I am having some minor surgery on Wednesday but should be all recovered by Friday.  So please check back on Friday and see my updates.

Sorry just getting around to updates  Here’s the stamp set  “Sitting Here” in Stampin’ Up!s New Catalog show on the side

A Nice Cuppa Tea Bag Holder

Stampin’ UP! A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set and Framelit Dies Cups and Kettle

When cleaning out my stamping studio, I can across a Box of Tea Bags.  I went searching the web for a pattern so I could make something neat for my club ladies.  (New Catalog coming June 1st, so I need to find some space. Otherwise, I would probably not be cleaning out…I like to save EVERYTHING)

I found this pattern on a video by Sweet Nothing Paper Company

Measurements:   Base Card 7″ x 5″  If using a Designer paper, it is 2 3/4″ x 3″

Score on each end (using the 7″ piece) 1/4.  then on that same side, score 3 3/8″ x 5 5/8 ”

Turn to the 5″ side and score 1 1/2:

Cut out both ends up to the 1 1/2″ score line

Measurements of a Nice Cuppa

Fold the 1/4″ scored piece in using a Bone Folder to get it nice and creased.  I used Stampin’ UP! Tear & Tape Adhesive down the side and then folder together.

Decorating the outside was easy.   I have a project Sheet that I can send you if you need.  Just send me a message

Tea Holder is a great gift for just letting someone know you are ready to enjoy some tea with them or send to a sick friend.  I did mine as a get well but you can do most any occasion for the tea lover

Thanks for stopping by.  If you like what you see, please share with your family and friends.   Have a great day

Stampin’ Up! Greatful Bunch Stamp Set

Grateful Bunch

Hi Stampers,  I created this card for a color challenge I saw.   Colors for this card were Rose Red, Garden Green and Crumb Cake.   I used the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set with the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch.

  1. Cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 Crumb Cake Card Stock in half and use this as your base
  2. Cut a  piece of Garden Green Card Stock as your first layer   4 x 5 1/4  Adhere to the Crumb Cake Card Stock using Mono Adhesive
  3. Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock  5 x 3 3/4
  4. Stamp leaf from Stampin’ UP! Grateful Bunch on right of Whisper White Card Stock using Garden Green Ink Pad
  5. Stamp greeting in lower left corner using Garden Green Ink Pad
  6. On a piece of Whisper White Card stock stamp the set of 3 pedals in Rose Red.  Using a Rose Red marker, highlight some around edges, then punch out using the Blossom Bunch Punch
  7. Using a piece of Rose Red Card Stock, punch out the three petals using the same punch.
  8. Assemble alternating the stamped and Rose Red Petals attaching together with dimensional.    I used 2 different sizes of Pearls for the center of petal.  Adhere to card with dimensional

Another Thank You – GDP034

Thank You - GDP034

Thank You Card created for GDP034

This card is one of the easiest I’ve done.   Stamp twice and you are finished.

  1. Cut  an 8 1/2 x 11  Stampin’ UP! Whisper White Card Stock in  half then fold to get a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Card Stock Base
  2. Cut a piece of Stampin’ Up! Lost Lagoon Card Stock 4 x 5 1/4 and layer using mono adhesive over your base.
  3. Cut a another piece of Whisper White Card Stock 3 3/4 x 5 and using stamp Watercolor Wash, stamp with Lost Lagoon Ink Pad
  4. Stamp ‘Thank You’, using Black Momento Ink, from Stampin’ UP! Another Thank You     (retiring on May 31st)   Adhere to the lost lagoon card stock
  5. Done!  Can you believe how simple that is plus you can use any color scheme you would like.

I made this card for a fundraising event that one of my customers is having to raise money for ‘Relay for Life’ so we did not want to get into embossing but if the Thank You was embossed it would bring some shine to the card.

Hope you enjoyed this simple, quick card.    You can get email updates whenever I post.  Just go to the Follow Blog Via Email link on the right hand side of the screen

Project Life page featuring my 3 of my Grandson

camping boys 1999

I had a Scrapbooking Class Saturday so had sometime to do a couple of pages.   Having these classes has helped me get back into getting some more pages done.    I am mainly using the Project Life Memory Keeping system.  Oh so easy.  Just put your photos in the slots, a card for journaling or saying.    I printed the ‘Grandsons’ saying from the computer and added it instead of a project life card.  I had to layer the photo’s on card stock because they were not your typical size  (4 x 6).   Usually, it’s as easy as tucking your photo in the Project Life Photo Pocket Pages.  As you can see, I used some of the Project Life Cards to mount my photos.  Love this system.  so quick and easy.

Can’t wait to post of Facebook for Grandsons.  These photos were from 1999

My next class is on June 18th from 9:30 – 4:00.  Lunch is provided plus a couple of project life photo pockets.  I will also have a sample of layouts for just using card stock as the background.

If in the area, come check my class out    RSVP by Wednesday, June 15th

Have a great day and as always, sent me any comments or questions you may have.
