Early Morning Stamper came about because I am one of those folks that get up in the middle of the night or early morning and do my card making or work on projects that need to be completed for an upcoming class or craft fair.
I started stamping after I was invited to a Stampin’ Up! party that was at a daycare my grandson was going to at the time. The workshop was run by my now downline, Carolyn S, and I can not explain how excited both my daughter and I were when we picked up those stamps and created something beautiful. We bought everything to make one of the projects that Carolyn was demonstrating and of course, the items didn’t come quick enough. Once they arrived, we invited all our friends to come and stamp with us…this became a weekly event for quite some time.
This new stamping adventure came at the right time in my life. I had just lost my twenty five year old son–what an outlet this was for me! I would wake up in the middle of the night, dig out my stamping materials and find myself just stamping to my hearts content. I can’t explain how much that time meant to me… very therapeutic.
A couple of years later I signed up to be a demonstrator to get the discount. Then slowly I was able to get a few customers. I do a monthly club, have monthly classes for card making and also a paper pumpkin class. I just celebrated my 10th anniversary with Stampin’ Up! and have decided to move forward and get an online presence and bring my business to the next level.
